As the Director of Client Development, Sandee is the first point of contact for prospective clients that meet with the firm. She follows up with all leads and referrals and guides people through the appointment process.
More About Sandee
Sandee’s 40-year career before joining Buska was primarily retail management based in Rice Lake, WI. Sandee has enjoyed working with customers in direct, phone, and retail sales. Sandee holds her life insurance license. She pursued a bachelor’s degree through Concordia University in her late 40s.
Sandee was born and raised right in Central Wisconsin, graduating from Stratford High School in 1980. She had been married to her husband, John for 39 years until his passing. Together, they had 2 married children, Nikandra (Matthew) Glause (Eau Claire) and Matthew (Tabitha) Schafer (Rural Marathon). In addition to Nikandra and Matthew, Maryn (Eau Claire) completed the Schafer family in 2007. Sandee is also a proud grandma to Maddyson Schafer, an Edgar High School student.
In her free time, Sandee enjoys bargain shopping and caring for her dogs (Gidget & Normie) and cats (Maxi & Genny). She is turning the Hatfield cabin by Lake Arbutus into a home and transitioned to the Eau Claire office in June 2026. The Hatfield land is enjoyed by family and friends—camping, fishing, swimming, and ATV riding.
